What is your home’s market value? Market value is what a buyer is willing to pay for your home in today’s market. It’s not based on what you think it’s worth, what your neighbor sold for, or what a friend says. It’s based on current buyer demand, interest rates, inventory, and how motivated buyers are right now. If your price is too high, your home may sit on the market without offers. If it’s too low, you might leave money on the table. The market shifts all the time, and pricing your home correctly from the start gives you the best chance at attracting strong offers.

What happens if your home sits too long? Time is not your friend when selling a home. The longer your property stays on the market, the less desirable it becomes, and buyers will start to wonder what’s wrong with it.
